Mimic Nature
When you grow indoors you have to mimic the balance that mother nature creates outdoors, naturally. This involves controlling temperature and humidity in your grow tent. There has to be air brought into the tent and then air taken out of the tent.
Manmade Ventilation System

Suction is Important
With a grow tent you will be exchanging the air every minute or so. There will be a suction to the tent that is visible. This means there is negative pressure within your tent.
Fans You Need
The main hardware you need for properly ventilating a tent will be round ducting that can reach a fresh air source along with duct tape. You will need an intake fan that will be blowing new air into the tent. You will also need an exhaust fan. The whole point of the ventilation is to make sure the plants get fresh air at all times. Extractor Fan and Ducting
The extractor fan goes close to the top of the tent near the ventilation hole. The intake fan will go near the bottom of the tent near the ducting. You are basically running the ducting through a hole in the bottom of the tent and sealing it with duct taping. The fan will be in front of the ducting sucking in the fresh air from the outside. The ducting has to run to a fresh air source.
A Successful Grow
Growing cannabis is not for everyone. You have to be very careful every step. You have to give your cannabis everything it wants in order for it to give you what you want, healthy flowering plants.
