Hey man, how are things going down under?!

Yo, it’s going pretty not too bad.

What are your current thoughts about the Australian electronic music scene right now?

I think it’s poppin’! There are a lot of Australian artists doing huge things on the world stage at the minute. We’re still really young when it comes to club culture, but things are slowly building.

How does it feel to have your brand new track “Let It Go” featuring BRUX available to the public?

Feels good man! I hope people like to listen to it at home and I hope it goes well in the club. I wrote four different versions of this jam since we did the studio session so its great to get it out there and see peeps digging it!

Does the feedback have you loving it? Or have you anxious to get back to the next one?

A bit of both. I always get a mixture of excitement and nervousness before a release.

What does your creative process typically look like?

Usually, start with an idea in my head and try to get it down as quick as possible. Start with basic samples and sound design then gradually make them more interesting as the song develops.

Who are a couple of Australian artists that you’re into right now and that we need to look out for?

Stace Cadet, Double Agent, Torren Foot, Airwolf, SODF, HEAPS MORE

What about you – who are some of the artists you’ve looked up to and that have helped inspire your sound?

My friends and I went to a lot of bush parties in our mid to late teens which I think had a big impact on the type of sounds that still influence me. This is a bit of an eclectic mix of artists but these all helped shape my sound for different reasons Justin Martin, Dnox & Beckers, Tipper, Sensient, Prefuse 73 and heaps more.

Do you have any big plans for 2020 yet?! Anything new coming out? Any new shows on the calendar or travel plans?

One of my favorite labels just came back about wanting to sign an EP so I’m stoked on that, I can’t wait to share more info about it. I’m currently on tour which is pretty dank too!

What can you be found doing outside of music that gets you excited?

I love taking my dog to the beach. Cooking and going to awesome restaurants with my gal is pretty damn sick too.

We thank you for your time and hope to see you in Seattle, Washington sometime soon!!

Thanks! Hope I can make it over soon.
