Verdelux Edibles are the most popular edibles available in Dancing Gypsies Dispensary. I’ve tried their Lush Gummies, the BonBoms, and the Illumination Candies and with each one, I’ve had a great experience. When I reviewed the Honey Carmelo Meltaway for the West Coast Weed Tour, I was unfortunately underwhelmed.
Who Is Verdelux?
Verdelux edibles are made by a small team of experts. They entered the recreational cannabis market with the intent of creating the world’s finest edibles. Verdelux edibles are made following the tradition of victorian confectionaries. They focus on perfecting taste, potency, and consistency.
They are also considerate of their consumer. The flower used to make the products is selected from farms that avoid pesticides and fungicides. They create RSO from the flower they purchase so that their edibles are stain specific.
Official Honey Carmelo Review
The Honey Carmelo Meltaway is a caramel covered in smooth dark chocolate with a sea salt finish. I was attracted to both the packaging and the potency. This edible is 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBD: a 1:1 ratio. Verdelux’s Lush gummies are some of my favorite edibles on the market, but this was my first experience with the Honey Carmelo Meltaway.
The edible smelled delicious. It was a manageable size and wasn’t messy. Upon biting into it, however, I got a distinct cannabis flavor. I love the flavor of cannabis, but not in candy. It was disappointing that the caramel had such a strong plant flavor to it. The texture of the edible was pleasant and I ultimately enjoyed the high that it produced.
Overall, my experience could have been better. I wouldn’t recommend that particular edible to people unless they liked the flavor of weed in their candies, but I would recommend all of Verdelux’s other products. I’d also love it if their packaging had more information available. Still, for the price, this was a good value for a 1:1.
