Portland’s music scene was already on the steady come up for most of 2016 and it appears 2017 is going to be even better. With artists like Hal-V & SpaceCase releasing tracks like ‘Hard Knocks’, the Northwest, and Portland in particular, could be primed for an industry takeover.

This newest release from Trapstyle Prime is a hard-hitting blend of what I would call, experimental trap music. Although it doesn’t truly ‘knock’ as hard as I’d like, the second half of the song was pretty jammin.
This duo is one of the Northwest’s rising producer/DJ duos and we are excited to hear more of their music in 2017. They also have a show coming up in Portland on January 19th alongside AMF, Digital Monster, and a solid selection of other local performers. If you’re interested in seeing them live, we suggest stopping by! Tickets still available here.
