An indie pop sensation, grasskingdoms is a DIY artist from Nashville Tennessee. Before ‘zeroing in’ on his current music, grasskingdoms used to produce beats as a music producer. “I realized I had to become the artist I want to work with.” This all leads up to owning his own record label, Fat Dope Records.
“I feel I can express myself in a way I never could before.” grasskingdoms confesses he is reaching more people. This could be because of his ability to wear many hats. From creating and recording the music, to marketing, grasskingdoms does it all. He creates content on tiktok, youtube, and instagram to go with everything he releases.

Drawing inspiration from 80s Nuwave, grasskingdoms has already released two new singles on streaming platforms. Moreover, grasskingdoms is excited for the release of his upcoming song ‘Synethesia’ on April 19. Notably, this single features comedian Jerimiah Watkins on saxophone, marking a new venture for grasskingdoms. ‘It’s a cool pop dance track,’ grasskingdoms shares, emphasizing that this is his first track incorporating saxophone. As part of a series of releases, ‘Synethesia’ paves the way for an album launch under his own record label later this year.

While some of his music fans can find relatable, with Maybe having a message featuring self doubt and self discovery. The new single takes a different turn. Synethesia is a song about being high on psychedelic drugs. “There’s a big middle section with guitar and sax, it’s not too out of this world.” grasskingdoms says. He describes this song as having a metaphorical and cerebral feel to it.

“‘I’m one person doing a lot,’ grasskingdoms admits. Leveraging his creative ideas, he utilizes a green screen to craft his own videos. This commitment invests considerable time and effort into every aspect of production. Moreover, he is dedicatedly striving to enhance his YouTube monetization.

Besides creating music, grasskingdoms creates content to market his music. This includes making comedy tiktok videos, which his following has increased with. It can take weeks to months before he is ready to release his next single. “It takes a long time, energy and effort, but I’m enjoying it!”
Rather than fixating on the end goal, grasskingdoms finds fulfillment in the creative process itself. He urges others to prioritize enjoyment and passion.
