Garrett Paknis Is The Spark That Will Set “Fire” To Electro Pop

Garrett Paknis is a Berlin-based producer and spoken word rapper, and “Fire” might be his best work yet. Wanting to be more than just another generic rapper, Garrett stands out by making music that is danceable but also intimate and meaningful. Telling heart felt stories from his life and projecting the emotion from those through his music.

“Fire” is exactly this, a fun beachside summer dance track that also tells the story of lost love. As soon as Garrett’s voice comes through with the lyrics, “I passed your place tonight / I didn’t even look at the front door / I used to ring that buzzer / and want nothing more.” You know there’s going to be something different about this track, and even if you don’t initially like it, as you listen through the rest you find yourself bobbing your head and vibing.

Garrett Paknis has succeeded in standing out by doing the simplest thing possible, staying himself. Not caring just about what’s poppin’ or what people say or think. He makes music he wants to make and that allows his emotions to be expressed how they need to. Which makes Garrett that much more likable, plus the music is fire.
