Ever since Paradiso I have been craving a similar fix of festival filthiness. I’ve been thinking about FreakNight 2014 pretty much every day since they announced the first phase of artists and now all I can think about is Halloween being just over two weeks away! For me, every day until October 31st is absolutely dragging by. The only thing that really gets me through the day is reading up on the different EDM shows coming up around the PNW over at Dance Music NW!
Dance Music North West has been the premiere music blog in our region for the last few years and is the best place to go for updates on the PNW’s electronic music scene and info on who is doing what in the EDM world. I get especially pumped to read about their awesome ticket giveaways and unique PLUR package contests that they run for the bigger festivals. They cover all of the local USC Event’s shows, promote local producers and DJs, and their writers provide great insight and perspective with their unique NW styles. One of my favorite things about DMNW is that they always show mad love to their fellow small businesses and are truly a prime example of what can happen with a solid group of hard-working and highly dedicated people.

On Friday, October 17th, the DMNW team will choose their favorite submissions to be uploaded to DanceMusicNW.com for public voting. They will keep the voting open until October 24th! If you don’t win first place don’t be too sad, you have a chance to win second AND third place prizes still.
