Flower Girl Cannabis Is Empowering Women Through Positivity and Inclusivity

Flower Girl Cannabis is a new, up-and-coming cannabis and lifestyle brand with the goal of empowering women with positivity and reinforcement. Founder, MJ Martin, was diagnosed in 2017 with a rare disease called achalasia. She says she saw hundreds of doctors but nothing and no one was able to relieve her pain. MJ then decided to do research of her own and discovered more people who suffered from this disease and found that they used medicinal cannabis.

She took part in a 6-week RSO course, and then the rest was history. MJ says from that point, she was “a believer in healing properties of cannabis.”

MJ shares that cannabis has changed her life for the better and that’s what fueled her to create Flower Girl. She says she wants to “change the stigma of cannabis and help those with chronic illnesses, depression, and anxiety.”

Challenging The Stigma

She was searching for a community of people who shared the same views as her, but couldn’t find one; so, she made one herself. MJ says “being able to be a voice for those who can’t speak about the amazing healing properties of cannabis has been a blessing,” and that is her M.O. with Flower Girl.

Going Digital

Flower Girl recently published their new website where you can browse their products and merch at the Flowergirl’s Artist shop. And now people also have the opportunity to post about their own experiences with cannabis. Called “Cannabis Confessionals,” you can upload a video of yourself talking about what cannabis means to you and how it has helped you.

MJ says based on her past experiences, she learned that people want to talk about what they have been through. She wants to give them a platform so they can be seen and heard. In the future, Flower Girl will share videos on their social media platforms in hopes to continue to destigmatize cannabis, by “highlighting different people and the reasons why they use cannabis”.

Creating An Authentic Brand

Following the creation of Flower Girl Cannabis, MJ discovered that people like her were struggling to figure out what products to buy. There are many things to take into account when purchasing cannabis for the first time or for a medical reason. For example, what type of strains work best? What does good cannabis actually look like? What methods of intake will work.

Flower Girl wants to make sure that they have their women covered. Therefore, they are doing everything they can to ensure that they create an authentic brand that their people can trust. As well as producing quality, clean cannabis products. For their release, Flower Girl Cannabis is starting with pre-rolled joints of Mom’s Vacation (Chernobyl), Goal-Getter (Mochi), Wonderstruck (Lava Cake), Sweet Revenge (Galactic Glue). In the future, they plan to release more products, such as cannabis flower, vapes, edibles, and RSO.
