First arriving on the scene on YG’s Toot It & Boot It, Ty Dolla $ign has remained an industry mainstay. From his 2015 debut, Free TC Ty Dolla $ign has established himself as a powerhouse. But, it was through his frequent collaborative efforts in which he solidified his tenure. Ty Dolla $ign is responsible for assisting many artists with topping the charts including Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone, YG, and most recently SZA.
With Featuring Ty is taking ownership of the tagline that oft precedes his name. In a caption posted to Instagram, Tyrone explained the reason for the album title.

I’ve been blessed with the gift of collaborating. Not every artist can collaborate with another artist and have the final product be something incredible. Many people have said that when you see a song that says, “featuring Ty Dolla $ign,” you know it’s gonna be fire. As humbled as I am when I hear that, I can’t say I disagree.
I decided to name my third studio album “Featuring Ty Dolla $ign” because there is truly something for everybody on this album. It features some of my most talented friends, on some of the best music I’ve made in my career.
