Getting her official start at just 16, heartbreak royalty Faye Webster climbed her way to the top of an extremely crowded space in less than ten years. There are countless other artists who aspire to her style — the optics, the sound, the body language — but few can write like her.
At the end of the day, that’s really what it all comes down to.
It’s been two years since her last LP, one since her most recent EP and just a few months since her latest single. By moving at her own pace and not bombarding her listeners with new music at every step, she has trained her people to wait patiently for quality material, which she has a near-perfect track record of producing so far.
The 26-year-old has thus formed a deep connection with those paying attention — it feels intimate and exclusive, which is why witnessing the music in person is as essential to the Faye Webster experience as listening to it on headphones or speakers.
Currently, she is just two hometown shows away from wrapping up the 22-date North American tour that she’s been on since mid-October. After back-to-back shows in Atlanta later this week, the singer-songwriter will take a break from the road till the end of the year. Come 2024, set will set out on the international leg of her tour, playing eight shows across New Zealand and Australia, then 14 in Europe.

Last week, on Wednesday and Thursday (November 8 and 9), the Georgia native played two nights at the Novo in Los Angeles. After opening sets by Upchuck and Maye, Webster took the stage and performed 14 fan favorites to a packed audience each night.
