Emanuel Brown is a respected name among the Respect My Region community. His latest release features three artists, KingDow and Sarey Savy alongside Brown for a release called “Expensive”. This track is different from what we’ve seen in the past but nonetheless it is definitely unique and entertaining.
All Hail The King(Dow)
KingDow started rapping in 2018 after growing up being involved in jazz and rock bands. He started focusing on a solo career after attending college and does what he calls “genre-transcending” music or alternative hip-hop.
Dow met Emanuel Brown at the 2019 Sound City Cypher and from there continued to help with video shoots and they even performed together. He dropped two EP’s last year, continuing to rise and elevate the bar of his own potential.
A huge fan of dance and quite the dancer himself, KingDow’s brand represents a lot of spirituality. He is also a host of the All Game Podcast where he works with Emanuel Brown and others to share the journeys of young entrepreneurs.
Sarey’s Story
Sarey Savy is a Cambodian who was born into a musical family and started singing/writing at age 12. He was signed twice in his teens but, unfortunately, things didn’t work out either time. In his early 20’s he found an app called Vamper and it reinvigorated his career.
Sarey began to link up and create with international producers and before he knew it was finding success in foreign countries. Originally Sarey Savy would say he makes R&B, Pop, and Hip-Hop. Now he is into making House music.
He began to feel like he had a hit a wall and was ready to be done until he came across a producer on Instagram named Chris River. They made a track called “Games” that blew up in Italy and this gave Sarey the juice to keep going.
Sarey Savy met Emanuel Brown in 2018 at a gig at Columbia City Theater and Met KingDow when he and Brown were on Instagram live.
“Expensive” is a fun and in your face type track made for those nights where you’re really feeling yourself and ready to get it. Coming with an energy we’ve not seen yet from Brown, these three are working to take over headlines in 2021.
