The music industry is constantly evolving. As it adapts to the changes brought on by the Covid pandemic, EDM Maniac has been an industry leader and has helped events continue to thrive in the virtual and digital spaces.
Devin Lezama, the founder of EDM Maniac, wasn’t going to let COVID-19 slow their growth down. A partnership formed with Insomniac TV to cultivate virtual concerts and exclusive interviews with some of the best artists in electronic dance music today.
Filling A Void
EDM Maniac uses cutting edge technology to create their top-of-the-line virtual concert experience. This allows ravers to experience the culture from the safety of their living room. Green screen technology and custom-built 3D stages provides a personal experience that allows the ravers to feel like they were at a real concert. The only thing missing is the thumping bass and sticky floors. When the TV or computer screen is the only light on in the room it makes you feel like you are at a real concert. Accompanying the music are world class light performances that add to that community feel everyone is missing.
Digital concerts thrown by EDM Maniac will feature exclusive interviews with the performing artists. By doing this, their team hopes to develop a deeper connection with the community that they serve. They also hope to replace the physical connection that an attendee experiences at a live show with a personal connection to the artist through these interviews. This continues to promote the friendship and loyalty that thrives between artists and followers in the EDM community. The personal relationship that is experienced also helps make these kinds of festivals one of a kind.
A seven week residency program by EDM Maniac launched on Insomniac TV back on February 25th. A stellar lineup that includes sets by Dack Janiels, Wenzday, and Hami, there are also a few live shows available that are CDC compliant at The Venue ATX in Austin, Texas. These experiences were created just for people with the means and desire to leave their living room. These specific shows occur every Friday and Saturday, plus they feature local artists as well as the worlds biggest DJ’s.
As we continue to move towards the end of the pandemic they hope to provide the EDM community with bigger and better news and events. Check out their website or Instagram to see what is happening next.
