E-40 is arguably one of the dopest rappers of all time. If you grew up jammin’ west coast rap, you slapped E-40. If you were part of the hyphy movement, you slapped E-40. The dude was born in the late 60’s and is still putting out fire songs. Combining 40’s filthiness with up and coming local legends, Nacho Picasso and DJ Swervewon might just start more seismic activity in the 206. It’s great to see Seattle hosting such incredible artists and I’m pretty sour that I’ll be missing the show. Don’t be like me and get your a$$ to the Showbox! There will be plenty of Seattle’s finest out in the town celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day so get your fancy on and get to twerkin.
