Chris Webby Vividly Captures Fear And Loathing With “Drugs In A Suitcase”

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas encompassed Hunter S. Thompson and his attorney on their drug-fueled adventure through the strip. Chris Webby’s latest track, “Drugs in a Suitcase,” captures the feel from the book and movie. Remember reading about the drug collection Thompson was carrying in his suitcase as he sped down the interstate? Webby reinvents the feeling of listening to Thompson ramble off his collection of drugs.

“Drugs in a Suitcase” was written during an EightyHD Music company retreat. A dose of mushrooms was ingested while they watched Fear and Loathing with the sound turned off. The result was a song that encapsulates how easy it is to lock yourself into a drug collection, just like Thompson.

While the song focuses on a variety of psychedelics, it is perfect for sparking a blunt and preparing yourself to trip. Webby gave us a Quarantine anthem back in March that we were vibing on. We can trust him to deliver us relevant content on a regular basis. Webby is known for his eloquent delivery and intelligent word-play. Bump “Drugs in a Suitcase” below and see how he really brings the Fear and Loathing vibes to life with each bar.
