New mix tape from Drake – If You’re Reading This Its Too Late and the internet is buzzing.
Drake pulls a Beyonce and drops the mythological mix tape that was “on its way” tonight and it looks like it is titled fittingly ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.’ The rumors started flying in November when NBA and Toronto Raptors player DeMar DeRozan said Drake had a new project coming in January. The project seems to only be on iTunes at the moment although the tracks were up for steam on sound cloud 30 minutes ago. Drake is still on track to release his fourth studio album ‘Views From The Six’ later this year, and this project was completely unrelated. My favorite tracks thus far are Legend, Preach, Company, and Star67.

This record is definitely a ‘mix tape.’ Although ‘Drake – If You’re Reading This Its Too Late’ clocks in at 17 full length originals, it is more a collection of dope songs and not put together like I anticipate the full length ‘Views From The 6’ will be. It is no doubt an ill collection of songs, it’s title would lead one to believe ‘By the time your reading this Im over this music…I have something epic in store.”

UPDATE: Looks like the internet is buzzing of rumors about Drake releasing ‘Drake – If You’re Reading This Its Too Late’ to fulfill his Cash Money Records deal in order to have more freedom with the ‘Views From The 6’ he has been promoting. Looks like Baby and Slim are going to be HURTING for artist here soon. My speculation is Nicki and Drake follow suit along with Lil Wayne and connect elsewhere on a better deal (anything has to better than a Cash Money deal).
Drake and the OVO camp also let go of this new short film titled ‘Jungle’ which was real dope (minus the circling red smoke scene…sightly corny)
