Doley Bernays is quickly becoming a favorite amongst the battle-hardened Hip Hop community in New York. The Bronx-bred MC gears up with People Like Us, Up-And-One, and R Baron imprints for his new nine-track project The Lobby Tape Side A.
The lyrically motivated effort rolls out with nine new tracks, including two previous singles. The project exudes high-energy conviction from the drop, as Doley raps with vengeance on the opening track “The Lobby.” He shared the visual for the track also, featuring views of classic New York City infrastructure and of course, the rapper and his gang.
Though much of the project is a solo effort, the lone pair of features hit grooves. For example, as Doley raps about self-medication on “A Week Straight,” 03 Greedo adds a trademark melodic rap-sung verse. And on “New Ice Cream Man” with Maxo Kream both rappers go No Limit channel Master P.
A Look Back At Doley Bernays’ Releases
This project marks the third extended play release for the rapper this year, so far. The curated work follows previous bodies like his six-track solo effort on the Make Me Worse EP. Doley also shared his powerful Hard Raising Black Boys release in response to nationwide protests on police brutality.
