DJ Drama has established himself as a master collaborator, having worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop. He has partnered up with one A-lister after another on his Gangsta Grillz tape series and has now shared his wish list for future installments.
Aside from his contributions to Tyler, The Creator’s knockout 2021 album, Call Me If You Get Lost, Drama has been busy dropping his own projects too. So far, he has released Gangsta Grillz tapes with NBA YoungBoy, Snoop Dogg, Jeezy, French Montana and Jim Jones, among others. He most recently put out the studio album, I’m Really Like That, and is now ready to circle back to his trademark series and work with more all-stars.

“I’ve had the conversation with Stove God [Cooks],” Drama told XXL regarding future prospects for Gangsta Grillz. “I would love to do a project with him. I think a GloRilla Gangsta Grillz would be fire. Maybe even like Ice Spice or maybe Lady London. So many dope females out there.”
He added: “Obviously, a lot of people have always wanted the EST Gee Gangsta Grillz. Don’t get me started, so many people. I mean, would love to do a Brent Faiyaz Gangsta Grillz. It is endless. I think that’s one thing that’s dope and potent about Gangsta Grillz. It’s a platform and cross-generational.”
On a recent episode of Elliot Wilson and B. Dot’s Rap Radar podcast, Drama even revealed that a De La Soul tape will be dropping soon: “De La Soul’s coming to streaming. I can’t be more excited … And we got a Gangsta Grillz coming! Little sidebar.”
