Lately, it feels like many artists are using a similar equation to pump out any music they can as fast as they can. Diveyede likes to challenge that notion. By combining multiple elements to create his new video “A Visual Experience” he’s made something truly intentional and unique. By teaming up with Mateo Herrera of MateoArt, they use a grungey style of animation to create a full experience for the listener. This video is inspired by Diveyede’s life experiences in Seattle and his subsequent move to Los Angeles.
It’s clear Diveyede has been heavily influenced by Seattle and integrates this into his video with images like the Space Needle and metro being used throughout. My favorite part about this track is how much he changes it up. If it was your first time listening, you may think you were listening to two different artists.
Nope! That’s just Diveyede giving us different layers of sounds and styles. Each part is unique to the emotions that are being targeted. The track begins slow and vibey while the last third or so of the song features a more hard-hitting flow with Diveyede giving us some more attitude.
