Denver’s “Dirty Drive-in” Concerts Are Beginning to Restore The Festival Industry And Our Hearts

As a result of COVID-19 restrictions and shut-downs, event gatherings took a heavy hit. With new limitations on people and crowds, the summer festival season came to a complete stop. Some festivals dished out rough-time estimations for rescheduling, while countless others had to completely cancel. Perhaps the Dirty Drive-in concert series will provide a dash of hope for live-music fanatics.

A near 25-minute drive north of Denver, Colorado, Dirty Drive-In concert series is taking huge steps in the right direction. Each Thursday this July, Dirty Drive-in is turning out a drive-in festival experience. The lineup features big names like EPROM, Peekaboo, Break Science, Chee, SoDown, and more.

Inside the show, people will be required to wear mandatory masks (which has never been a problem in the EDM scene) and receive temperature checks prior to admission. With a massive sound system or through FM, Dirty Drive-In attendees will even be able to dance outside of their vehicles while keeping a safe distance.

Hopefully, drive-in events like this will be the first signs of reuniting community and get us back to seeing live music again. Tickets to Dirty Drive-In are on sale now and can be purchased here.
