Seafair weekend in Seattle is by far one of the most renown weekends that the northwest has to offer during summertime. If you aren’t out on the water boating, you might find yourself watching the annual air show which features the Blue Angels, a group of fighter jets that fly around the town doing in-flight maneuvers to entertain the crowds below. This time of year the sun is typically out, alcohol tends to be flowing wherever you go and it’s nothing but good vibes. This was certainly the case this past weekend while the Blue Angels graced our city’s airspace during “Dillon Francis’ Hello Seattle: I Love You” event, which took place at Seattle Center just below the Space Needle. AMF, Upperleft, and Dillon brought the event to Seattle in light of his brother who lives here.
Joining him on the bill was Party Favor, What So Not, Wax Motif, Nitti Gritti, and Seattle’s very own, Kendoll. All artists came ready to play and lit the place up. They each brought different vibes and energy. Each artist had their own unique approach, which kept things fresh and interesting. All the artists complemented each other nicely and were great openers for Dillon and were a strong representation and reflection of the sort of event that Francis would conduct and put his name on. Dillon eventually came to the stage and lit up the crowd. People moved closer to the front and began to get more into the show. Overall, it was a great experience and we’re super thankful for AMF, Upperleft and all of those that put in hard work to make sure that the event ran smoothly. Everyone that attended had a great time.
