After replacing their annual arts and music festival with a touring concert series last year, Desert Daze is returning to its original form in 2024. In fact, the gathering looks more stacked than ever before as the four-day event isn’t limited to a straightforward lineup this time around. In addition to the main roster of performers, a wide range of experiences have been curated on the periphery of the central attractions.
To further enhance sets by Jack White, Cigarettes After Sex, Thundercat, Danny Brown, 100 gecs and many more, Desert Daze is branching out with installments such as Gold Diggers In The Desert, The Outer Space and the Thursday Night Welcoming Committee. Furthermore, the itinerary features a wide range of projection artists, large-scale art installations, talks and screenings.
Scheduled to take place at Lake Perris in Moreno Valley, California from October 10–13, Desert Daze will also include a number of extracurricular activities such as swimming, hiking and camping.
Desert Daze 2024 Full Lineup
Last year, Desert Daze took on a slightly different form than what most have known it for since its first installment in 2012. Instead of a weekend-long festival, it was split up into a number of concerts scattered all over Southern California, namely Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Ana, Pomona and Riverside.
Across 12 dates, Daze In the City featured knockout acts such as the Dandy Warhols, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, Blonde Redhead and the Brian Jonestown Massacre.
The festival is now back to hosting a larger crowd with more acts and even greater distractions at its one-of-a-kind outdoor venue in the Golden State. With Desert Daze 2024 just a little over two months away from kicking off this fall, be sure to purchase your tickets and camping passes here.
