DDG is back with a brand new track titled “Lit Tonight.” He’s been making big moves in the game over the past few years – which can be seen with his latest release titled Valedictorian. Hits such as “Arguments” and “PUSH” have elevated him further as well.
The slow trap-style works well with the range and expression of his voice. In the song, he talks about obstacles in relationships and approaches this topic with very honest and candid lines. While the rawness of his lyrics is surprising at certain points, it also works well with the track.
While “Lit Tonight” isn’t a turn-up banger, his latest release definitely has many R&B and Lo-Fi qualities that definitely deserve an in-depth listen.
