about stoners, “GREEN TEAM OFFICIAL” is an anthem to all things marijuana. From titles, to themes of songs, to “Cheech and Chong” film quotes laced in between tracks, it is clear what these boys are talking about. But, with that said, I’d like to briefly pull your attention to the fact that this album isn’t so exclusive that non-weed users can’t enjoy it as well. After receiving an advanced copy of “GREEN TEAM OFFICIAL” and listening to it many times in preparation for its release, I can say with confidence that this is a fantastic album, full of original tracks that pull you in quickly and can be enjoyed by a broad audience. Featuring many artists, (Caitlin Cardier, Epp, MRTS PRPL, Illmaculate, OnlyOne, Mikey Vegaz, Fli Boi Moe, Dizz and N.VS), this album pulls from a lot of Northwest talent. I admire artists who enjoy sharing their spotlight in order to better the music for the fans. Real good music comes from utilizing your resources, and I think G_Force and LawzSpoken did a great job of that here. Having so many different voices and styles on this album really brings out a creative variety with each track. The use of film quotes that fit with the theme of the album also does a good job of holding the listeners focus.
