City Hippie Manifests 2020 Vibes in New Single “Rockstar”

City Hippie ended a year of major moves with single “Rockstar” featuring Clever. The collective dropped album Love Ties earlier in 2019. With the momentum of their enchanting lyricism and talent, many performances riddled their schedule this year. City Hippie played, Northern Nights Music Festival at the collective’s Humboldt County base. They went on to grace Santa Rosa post Love Ties‘ drop at The Emerald Cup. The group’s energy and persistence in the hip-hop realm have them rising to the top of the Pacific Northwest’s hip-hop sphere.

The collective continued with their sinewy cadences that leave mouths watering with each bar. This track features one of the collective’s many MC’s, Reeph, alongside Southern rapper, Clever. The piece sticks to the group’s usual formula of gentle autotune floating on top of a masterful beat created by the group’s engineer and manager, JUICE. If Clever looks familiar, its because he can be heard on the late Juice WRLD’s song “Ring Ring.” From features to pure artistry, City Hippie is showing us how to truly allocate resources and talent to uplift the crew.

City Hippie will be dropping a song on the twentieth of every month this year and we are ready for it. “Rockstar” is already boasting a hefty 20,000 streams on Spotify merely three weeks after its release. Don’t sleep on the kids, they’re about to become legends in the game.
