LA’s Caviar Gold creates some pretty insane cannabis products, as well as power the exclusive “Jay & Silent Bob” cannabis line. They’re known for moon rocks, infusing flower with 95% pure distillate, and basically any and all high potency infusions you can imagine. Among which is their Cavi Cone that they take premium flower and infuse with distillate and terps and then blend with kief.
Their partnership with Ice Wata Genetics has made a crazy strong pre-roll that boasts over 40% THC, and flagrant terps. I don’t believe in THC percentages being the defining factor in quality, but adding in the terps took it that next level for me. I can firmly say that this got me zooted. If that’s what they’re trying to accomplish then it was a job well done.
There wasn’t any strain info on the pre-roll, but from the scent and some snooping on Ice Wata Genetics’ Instagram I suspect it to be their Westside Blueberries strain. I picked up heavy notes of myrcene when I took a long, hard sniff on the joint before sparking it. It had a noticeable berry scent that came to life even more from the added terps.

Sometimes when I rip on infused pre-rolls I find that they burn unevenly as they hit different little pockets of kief or the oil on top causes an uneven smoke. Something about the additional oil, kief, et al to the flower creates a fast burn. This was not the case with the Cavi Cone.
I made it about halfway through the joint by myself before I was rightwise stoned. It had a nice even burn that was harsh at times, but gave flitting moments of floral, berry, and piney terps. I felt certain that this was a Blueberry-like strain because the high was what I’d expect from an indica strain that’s high in myrcene. This joint had me zoning tough as hell, and made it a little difficult to get back to work.
My only complaints are that I want to know more about the product. My biggest question is whether it’s the same flower that they’re using for the distillate and kief that they mix all together. Either way, it put me in complete relaxation mode and made me forget what I was doing more times than I’d like to admit.
