Sneaker Warz Presents: Clinton Sparks – April 16th, Neumos

Last night Neumos was sold out thanks to Iamsu! and his homies from HBK Gang. The crowd was super active and although their was some audio difficulties, overall it was an awesome night out on Capital Hill. Fast forward up to April 16th and we have another DOPE show making its way out to the same spot! Two Seattle #LocalLegends, Shawn Kemp and Neema, are hosting the Clinton Sparks show featuring Donte Peace, DJ Equis, and Andie Case.

Lucky 2015

Who else got Lucky last Friday?!

I can’t write this article right now. My brain is too stupid and my body is too weak from the shenanigans at Lucky 2015. Instead, I am just going to do a series of shout outs to the people who made this weekend a memorable one. Here we go:

Shout out to Brillz who I apparently I walked past several times before gates opened but was too distracted to notice upon being notified that I would miss his entire set because my volunteer shift started at the same time. Ironic, no?

Shout out to the awesome WaMu Staff Pro people at the bass stage. I don’t remember any of your names but I will always remember you as the dopest crowd management staff WaMu has ever had. I even got one of you to go ham during Sound Remedy’s set.

NW Nightlife: Aston Manor throws Thug Mansion party featuring Kill Paris

If that title alone doesn’t make you squeel with delight—um, I mean, make you wanna turn up, then you probably were never a teenage wannabe gangster. In any case, you won’t want to miss this. Aston Manor never fails to pull out all the stops for their events, this time with lowrider bikes, 40’s, and LA-based producer/DJ Kill Paris. Opening up before Kill Paris is local trap/big room house DJ Sharps who lately has been blowing up the Seattle club scene.

Lucky 2015 Announces First Set of Artists

To some, St. Patty’s weekend is an excuse to wear green and pinch each other for a night of debauchery and shenanigans. And we, on the EDM-side of Respect My Region wholeheartedly agree. So come get lucky with us at Lucky 2015, presented by USC Events.

Phase 1 of the lineup was just announced last Friday and USC did not disappoint with artists 12th Planet, Aly & Fila, Audien, Brillz, Cedric Gervais, the Chainsmokers, Delta Heavy, Neelix, Seven Lions, and Zeds Dead filling the bill. This is one of the most impressive lineups I’ve seen since I’ve been attending USC shows; there is something for every musical taste.
