Cherry Pie - Topp Nuggs | Cannabis Strain Review

Reviewing Cherry Pie from Topp Nuggs

When I think of Cherry Pie, the first thing I think of is the 1980’s hair metal band song. Topp Nuggs appears to be out to change what I associate the name Cherry Pie with. The strain is combination of Granddaddy Purple and Durban Poison. I’ve never been a fan of the pie itself or the song, but I’m hoping I can at least be a fan of the strain.

This Cherry Pie strain did not smell like pie. Unless the pie was moldy, none of the colors on the nugs would be found in the pie. I was determined to not let either of these influence my decision on how I enjoyed the strain. The nugs were light popcorn nugs, my favorite for rolling blunts or taking knife hits.

These buds had a light green color that almost matches the fake Christmas tree I have in my living room. The bag released a sweet berry aroma when I opened it and this batch also smelled extremely fresh, which got me even more excited.

I found myself relaxed and unable to focus on anything for an extended period of time. Both of my computers were open while I wrote this review and watched the Steelers vs Bengals game. I found myself bouncing between the three tasks for short periods of time. This is the only Cherry Pie I’ll be smoking this holiday season.
