I am personally conflicted by the existence of disposable cartridges. They create a lot of waste in an already wasteful (in terms of packaging) industry. Still, Doctor & Crook has always been a leader in cartridge quality, so I was excited to try their disposable. So far on the West Coast Weed Tour, the Doctor & Crook Disposable Cartridge has been my most impressive review.
Who Is Doctor & Crook?
This Washington recreational cannabis company makes Bellingham it’s home. Many extraction facilities use trim as their starting material. A new wave of cartridge companies use botanical terpenes rather than cannabis derived. Doctor & Crook uses full-flower to produce their concentrates. The result is a higher quality oil and higher terpene concentrations. Cannabis derived terpenes give the user a more full-flower experience.
Doctor & Crook also takes consumer safety very seriously. They pesticide test all of their source material, and retest all of their extracts. They do this as part of the Tested With Confidence program by Confidence Analytics. The program guarantees that the product;
- Has accurate cannabinoid and terpene labeling.
- Does not contain harmful levels of contaminants.
- Meets or exceeds Washington state quality assurance requirements.

Official Doctor & Crook Disposable Review
As stated prior, I am not attracted to disposables due to the waste created. That being said, I was excited because of Doctor & Crook’s reputation for quality. This new battery is supposed to be one of the best performers on the market, and it did not disappoint. The color of the oil was clear but terpy. You could not smell the oil through the disposable, so it was very discrete. When I took a pull, the draw was smooth and clean. The oil was flavorful, like a kush but not overpowering.
Doctor & Crook always list a great bit of information on their packaging. This disposable has THCa, D9 THC, CBDa, CBD, CBN, THCV, CBG, CBGa, and CBC listed. It also has seven terpenes listed and a total of 45mg/g terpenes. Overall this distillate is potent, but not the most potent I’ve seen. This is probably due to the high terpene content.
My overall experience was extremely positive. I would love to see Doctor & Crook develop packaging that honors the quality of this product. A mylar does not do it justice. Maybe something compostable to offset the disposable single use plastic?
I would recommend this product to anyone visiting Washington State, or anyone traveling about. No need for a charger with disposables! This Doctor & Crook disposable is the perfect addition to my purse.
