Brainstorm has returned with a new single titled “Money and Power” featuring Mundy. For years, Brainstorm has established himself as an elite music producer not just in the Pacific Northwest, but across the entire country and beyond. He’s also made a name for himself in the beat battle arena, as his beats and overall production has proved to be ultimately unstoppable.
On his new single “Money and Power,” Brainstorm combines his vocals with his authentic style. From the first few seconds of the song, the chorus emerges with the line “we just want the money and the power” – which perfectly sums up both the identity and meaning of the song. He makes it clear that he’s back, and that his music demands the attention and respect that it deserves.
From start to finish, his voice rides effortlessly over the beat as his melodic flows showcases his voice well. Mundy also incorporates this similar style with vocals – which makes the song highly cohesive. In regards to the instrumental, it offers many different looks throughout. One of the most notable elements is the 808, as it hits so hard that you feel it right in your chest. The filtered vocal lead paired with the varying percussion elements throughout sets the song apart, as each component has a purpose and overall fit on the track.
Brainstorm also shared his thoughts with the track saying “I want to have fun with it and this is me having fun with it. When I completed the song Mundy came into the studio and the rest is history.” He also added that “I’m going to go on a crazy single run instead of putting out projects and it’ll all make sense once it’s said and done.” It’s clear that he has much more in store, and his recent single is here to kick it all off.
