USC Events Presents Bliss: Transcendence
If you attended Bliss: The Awakening last May, you’ll know just how special of a vibe USC can create with an all-trance show. It was truly a night to remember.
There were talks of a Bliss 2.0 swirling around the Seattle trance community the end of last year, but due to scheduling conflicts, the dreams of a repeat show were all but crushed. I say all but crushed, because Bliss is, in fact, returning on Saturday, May 6th!
Constant euphoria, bass hitting your very soul, synths that seemingly departed the stratosphere, and glistening lasers in every color imaginable entranced every person in the audience. The legendary Paul Oakenfold, John O’Callighan, Guiseppe Ottavianni, MaRLo, Coming Soon!!!, and Photographer made Bliss: The Awakening one of the greatest shows in Seattle last year.
Bliss: Transcendence will surely deliver the same amount of excitement.

Coldharbor Recordings frontman and half of the trance supergroup, New World Punx, Markus Schulz is considered to be one of the gods of modern trance music. He is no stranger to the northwest, either, having played last year at Paradiso with Ferry Corsten at sunset on day two. In fact, New World Punx was the only trance act to play on the mainstage that year. Get your feels ready for this one!

One of the most talented artists on the Anjunabeats roster, Andrew Bayer never ceases to bring a simple elegance to his sets.
If you attended Lucky 2016, you know exactly what I’m talking about. His style is unmatched and unique, using haunting synths on many tracks that embody trance by its very definition. His driving basslines will surely keep you on your feet.

A double dose of Anjunabeats in the form of a back-to-back set will surely make this second Bliss one of the best shows scheduled in Seattle for 2017.
Ilan Bluestone played at Lucky 2016 as well, bringing his electrifying vibe to the Tacoma Dome. He recently toured through Portland in November, armed with new collaborations with Andrew Bayer and Jason Ross. Prepare to be blown away!
— Ace Ventura —

Yoni Oshrat of Israel (or as he is known on stage, Ace Ventura) is considered to be one of the greatest psytrance DJ/producers of all time, and we get to see him live in Seattle!
Having worked with the biggest names in such a cultish subgenre, his repertoire covers quite a bit of vibes, and it will be quite the treat for any fan of dance music.
— Bryan Kearney —

What trance show would be complete without even more psytrance? Irish DJ and producer Bryan Kearney easily fits this bill and will surely deliver with brilliantly mixed euphoric tech trance and psytrance during his sets. You will not know what to expect next.
Followers of trance in the Seattle area have asked to see this name on a lineup again for a very long time, and what an incredible event to welcome him back to our community.
— Sneijder —

Normally people think of trance as a softer genre, but Sneijder can prove to you otherwise. A hefty helping of hard tech-trance on this lineup really spices things up, and this Dutch DJ will change your perception of an entire subgenre.
Try not to use up all of your energy at his set, though, you will need it for the rest of the night!
— Menno de Jong —

Considered to be the face of record label, In Trance We Trust, this Dutch DJ is a master at his skill.
When I say master, I mean master, as he has played ten-hour long marathon mixes, something that not many DJs can boast about. USC has booked an incredibly well-balanced lineup of artists with this show, and Menno de Jong is a beautiful, unique addition.
— Nifra —

How often do you see a female DJ? Nifra is breaking the gender norm in an industry that has been largely dominated by males, and she is doing so in an epic and euphoric fashion.
As an opening set, the crowd will not be disappointed; USC is dialing this up from a 0 waiting in line to a 7 the moment Nifra takes the stage.
Mark your calendars Saturday, May 6th because Bliss going to be unforgettable! If you are a trance veteran like myself, you know that this lineup is absolutely stacked, but I really encourage those who have not had much of an exposure to this genre to attend. You will walk away with a newfound appreciation of such an intricate and complex art.
