BINGX is back! After taking a year removed from the public eye the Bothell bred artist is back with bigger moves than ever before. Having spent the last year in the relentlessly working on his craft and shopping music to the labels, he’s ready to get his numbers up.
‘Numbers Up’ showcases BINGX’s full range of talents: From rapping, singing, pop appeal, and song structure. Artists will associate to the triumphant anthem about making it on your own terms.
“These companies don’t want you until you can show numbers, but once I have those numbers…I don’t need you anymore.”
BINGX told me that the recording and distributing of music via Soundcloud and Spotify has been commoditized. Labels no longer have an interest in grooming an artist from their potential, they simply want to see numbers. ‘ The record follows the process of approaching labels, being turned down, and using the curve as fuel to make shit happen on his own.
Slated to perform on Jarren Benton’s nationwide Mink Coat Killa Tour, the rest of the country will soon hear the incredible music that’s been brewing in the basement over the last year. Take a listen to numbers up and let us know what you think of the new record in the comments below.

Produced by Zaytoven, Mook Beatz, Bingx and others, the 15-track offering includes features with Jarren Benton on “I Got That Ish,” Stevie Stone on “Back to You,” and others. The track list is a product of newfound connections and burgeoning collaborations. My E.G.O. brings it all together, and BINGX’s writing benefits from the new tools of delivery. On “It’s A Big Deal” he flexes inspirationally, charging up listeners with a message to seize their moment. Later, on the cheeky, tongue-wagging “Gimme That Nani,” an outlying “disrespectful club song,” Bingx takes a break from the affective love songs like “More Than A Weekend” for some raunch, teasing and swaggering to a boisterous beat along the way.
