This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen recently! Glitched is a VR talk show in VR hosted by Eugene Capon and Topher Welsh. Guests strap on a virtual reality headset alongside the two hosts and hang out on the virtual Glitched set. On this episode, the Glitched crew brings out Seattle rapper Billy The Fridge.
Billy, a YouTube star in his own right, was a perfect selection for the show. It’s always interesting to catch a Billy the Fridge interview and this time, it may be even better in VR. His avatar looks like a WWF wrestler but sadly, his donut chain was unable to be recreated in VR.
What blossomed under the now-defunct Altspace network, had a 6 episode series picked up by High Fidelity. We’re told this is the first VR show to be picked up like a regular TV show or web series. While fans can catch the show in VR on High Fidelity’s platform, the show is also streamed on YouTube, Periscope, and Twitch.
