In this week’s Billboard Hot 100 Early Release report Cardi B, Charlie Puth, Shawn Mendes, and Imagine Dragons reach new peaks. Cardi B continues to climb the chart with the arguable song of the summer “Bodak Yellow”, coming in at a new peak of #8 this week. The track rises 7 slots from its previous position at #14 last week. This continues her streak as the highest charting solo female rapper since Nicki Minaj.
Elsewhere, the chart remains dominated by male vocalists including the likes of Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Beiber as they are now tied for the record for most weeks at #1 with Mariah Carey and Boys II Men’s “One Sweet Day”.
