21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s collaborative album debuts at the top spot of the Billboard 200 with 171,000 equivalent album units in its first week, 22,000 from album sales.
The sequel to their 2016 Savage Mode is the largest sales week for both artists. The original Savage Mode debuted and peaked at No. 23 in July 2016. On the sister chart, the Hot 100, 13 songs from the album debuted on the chart in various slots from No. 9 to No. 91.
Elsewhere on the charts, BLACKPINK’s debut The Album arrives at No. 2 with 110,000 equivalent album units (81,000 in album sales).
YG earns his fifth top 10 album with My Life 4Hunnid, arriving at No. 4 with 64,000 equivalent album units (47,000 in album sales). My Life 4Hunnid marks YG’s highest-charting set since My Krazy Life debuted at No. 2 in April 2014.
Bryson Tiller scores his third consecutive top 10 with Anniversary. The project, released on the fifth anniversary of his debut Trapsoul, opens at No. 5 with 57,000 equivalent album units (4,000 in album sales).
After debuting at No. 1 on last week’s chart, Machine Gun Kelly’s Tickets to My Downfall drops 1-6 in its second week (56,000).
