Big K.R.I.T. is one of the most well known and respected voices of the south. He began his musical journey back in 2005. Some of his most prominent bangers include “The Vent,” “Bigger Picture,” and “Multi Till The Sun Die.” Recently, he’s put out a couple of new albums, TDT, and most recently, K.R.I.T. IZ HERE.
The Mississippi rapper went quiet in terms of mainstream media and consistent releases from 2014-17. In 2017 he came back with 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time. Since last year, it seems as though he’s truly gotten back in his bag. K.R.I.T. IZ HERE can be seen as a progression over his 10-year career.
While it may not end up being as memorable as his 2017 double LP 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time. He at least tries branching out a bit here instead of sticking to his known, predictable self. I for one enjoyed this album, especially “Prove It” featuring J. Cole, and it’s not the only wave he made in 2019. Listen to the album below.

Also in 2019, Krit dropped his 3 track EP “Ballad Of The Bass.” These tracks are perfect if you got that bumping sound system in your whip and want to show them off. Spitting bars over deep, growling bass that bangs throughout.
With knowledge of the game and experience on his side Big Krit is poised for huge comeback in 2020. Showing us in 2019 he still has a lot in the tank this OG isn’t just going to fade into the black. Expect a big move from Krit, with precision and direction, I expect something that’s sure to get people talking.
