For our third consecutive year embarking on the West Coast Weed Tour, we had to stock up on some of the best edibles on the coast. Cannabis foods are crowd-pleasers not only for the variety of flavors and forms they come in but also for the ability to meter your dose.
This year we came across some outstanding chocolates, cookies, gummies, and even lollipops that were definitely hitting different. After reviewing each of the best edibles through our 100-point rating system, we’ve found our winners.
Here is our list of the best edibles on the West Coast from our third annual West Coast Weed tour.
The Best Edibles On The West Coast
LA Familia – Mazapan White Chocolate 99
LA Familia really knocked it out of the park with their White Chocolate Mazapans. Each chocolate was incredibly smooth and filled with creamy white chocolate flavor. Easily taking home a score of 99, these White Chocolate Mazapans are something we’d gladly pick up again. Find LA Familia’s products all around California and see our full review below.
Smokiez – Sour Watermelon Gummiez 97.5
Smokiez makes some of the most popular edibles in Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, and Oklahoma. We’re no stranger to their famous Gummiez, they come in a large number of flavors. The Sour Watermelon Gummiez really caught our attention on this year’s tour. Great flavor, consistency, and potent THC distillate in each bite. With such a large brand presence in multiple states, these gummies will never steer you wrong.
Koko Nuggz – Runtz Chocolate 95
Koko Nuggz is a confectionary company that produces cocoa covered cereal treats that look a lot like fat stinky nugs of weed. Cali Sweets creates these treats and operates under the umbrella of B-Real’s Dr. Green Thumb’s brand. They’ve recently been infusing some of these treats with cannabis to make them even sweeter. Koko Nuggz has done collaborations with both Berner and Scott Storch.
The Runtz chocolate was strong in flavor with a notable smell, and has the interesting addition of glitter. The flavor was an enjoyable creamy blueberry that had an aftertaste of cannabis. We enjoyed the attention-grabbing packaging and overall presentation.
Craft Elixirs/Pioneer Squares – Pineapple Crush Fruit Nom 93
Craft Elixirs’ edibles line Pioneer Squares are tasty fruit chews that come in an assortment of flavors. We came across the Pineapple Crush flavor that features a 1:1 ratio of CBD:THC. The edible came in very simple packaging, but left a solid impression off flavor, texture, and effects alone. We felt these enjoyable Fruit Noms were worthy of a score of 93. Check out the full review below to see how the texture came across.
Half Lit – Lit Lemonade & Pineapple Paradise Lollipops 90
Half Lit has brought something pretty special to California’s cannabis market. Their infused lollipops packed tremendous flavor and impressed us with both of the flavors we reviewed. The Lit Lemonade was full of delicious citrus and the Pineapple Paradise had pleasant sugary tropical flavors that also had citrus notes. We think it’s crazy inventive to put cannabis seeds in the stems of each lollipop, allowing you to grow your own weed with each treat. Truly an innovative product with a creative twist that any Californian can get behind.
Dirty Arm Farms – Adabinol 90
Dirty Arm Farms in Oregon has been cooking up a cannabis-infused syrup that many affectionately call “weed lean.” Their Adabinol syrup came in a cough syrup-reminiscent bottle that definitely added to the novelty of the product. Drinking some gave off a notable passionfruit flavor and noticeably intoxicating effects. This powerful mixture had 440mg of THC in it that hit heavily. Those seeking a possible knock-out from a cannabis product should try Dirty Arm Farm’s Adabinol. Check out our full review below.
Papa & Barkley – Hash Gummies 85
Papa & Barkley are known for producing a wide array of high-quality topical cannabis products. Aside from transdermal patches, bath salts, and lotions, they have a potent Solventless Hash Releaf Gummie that we had to try. The flavor unfortunately wasn’t outstanding, but we still felt like the potency of the hash is what made it a winner. We would’ve loved a more natural strawberry flavor, but everything else about these gummies helped us thoroughly relax.
Enjoyable – Peanut Butter Cookie 82.5
Enjoyable’s cannabis-infused Peanut Butter Cookie had attractive packaging and decent flavor. We felt like the cookies themselves were a little dry. The individual wrapping of each cookie within the package seemed slightly wasteful, but overall we felt it was an enjoyable product that didn’t have a powerful weed flavor to it.
Better Days Cannabis Co. – Cannabis Sugar 80
Better Days Cannabis Co. has created a cannabis-infused sugar that we had a memorable experience with. We found the sugar to be more of a powder than normal granulated sugar, but they still sweetened our beverage just the same. Definitely an interesting product worth trying with your coffee in the morning.
STIIIZY BIIIT Sour Gummy Cubes 80
STIIIZY is one of the vertically-integrated cannabis brands in California that you can’t deny. Whether it’s their celebrity co-signs or laid-back branding, they produce some of the state’s favorite distillate cartridges. Their BIIIT Sour Gummy Cubes are easy to enjoy and come with a pleasant infusion of clean cannabis oil. This pack came with assorted flavors that each had their own sour sweetness that can be conveniently found at STIIIZY’s downtown LA dispensary.
