Amine is back with a brand new album entitled Limbo. The highly anticipated sophomore album has finally arrived featuring 14 tracks. The 26-year-old Portland player assembles an impressive list of features and producers. Heavy-hitting artists including Vince Staples, Charlie Wilson, and Summer Walker assist Amine in bringing his second studio effort to life.
Undoubtedly, the PNW native has been grinding hard for years, but this new project showcases his development as an artist. Speaking with Vulture, Amine said he wants fans to know that he, too, is still “figuring it out.”
“I still don’t know what I’m doing, and that’s what I really wanted fans to know. Because the idea of a celebrity, or a rapper, or whatever the hell it is, when you’re put on this pedestal, people expect you to know exactly what to say or to have the best advice. This album is for people to understand I’m literally a human.”

One of the most notable tracks is “Pressure In My Palms” featuring slowthai and Vince Staples. The song’s opening bars are sure to grab the listener’s attention. “This is Britney Spears when she was bald, n*gga;” it’s rude in all the right ways. Couple that with the futuristic vocal engineering and smooth as butter 808s and you’ve got the recipe for a hit. The combination makes for an immediately memorable track allowing all three artists to share their unique artistry on the highly imaginative record.
Aminé continues to make waves and this latest album will only elevate his career. “Limbo” is a must-listen and an easy contender for one of the most cohesive projects of 2020. Watch Amine bring the project to life during the YouTube Live concert “Live from Limbo” August 12th at 4 PM PT/7 PM ET.
