Heaven Noise Recordings and Sandpeople have been consistently pushing visuals, singles, and music for a minute. As a past Portland resident, Sandpeople is a name that I am very familiar with but to be honest I couldn’t name more than a few members. This track was sitting in my inbox the last few days and upon the first play…I played it again. Al-one feat Chase Moore is a deadly combo. Got that hip hop feel but def fits into rotation with the other tracks I’ve been playing this morning. Really like the beat, the hook is dope, and there is no weak links on the features.
Al-One took a short break from promoting his recently released #WORK album to drop off these visuals for his newest standalone single, “Spliffs & Vodka.” The Portland emcee and Sandpeople member teamed up with Sacramento heavyweights Chase Moore, J Leake, and Hippie Sabotage to create the single which is available for free download on Al-One’s Soundcloud.
