Absolut-P is back to complete his self-produced album trilogy. The Omaha-based artist and producer shared his spacious soundscape single “W.W.D.D. (What Would Drake Do)” late last month and has returned with the accompanying full body of work entitled Under World.
The eleven-track, self-produced effort caps-off the former Lil Boosie Producer’s 2020 trilogy. The album campaign has which first launched in March has produced his Drug Dealerz Model and Eerie Music Playing releases.
The full project includes a number of ambient synths, unpredictable huge drum patterns, and Absolut-P’s signature patchwork flow. Under World adopts a number of popular production methods while keeping his unique creative integrity. Laced with drug, pop culture, and social media references – the tracks create a familiar scene for vibe-seeking hip-hop fans.
On tracks like “Prescott Kid (Gik)”, for instance, listeners are welcomed to his nonchalant vocals and their infectious flow as Absolut-P raps, “Shout out Fabo, yea/Gik like a Prescott kid/Take these drugs and fuck my night, I flake on a bitch.”
The standout track “Yoga Flame,” a song about rest, relaxation, and sexual encounters was recently featured on HipHopDX’s daily single charts.
