After announcing a new album in late August, multi-genre producer Dillon Francis dropped a project this week on October 5th. Titled Happy Machine, his new album includes a selection of Francis’ house-inspired songs. Featuring eight tracks and a 20 minute runtime, the electronic producer delivers upbeat textures paired with some exciting collaborations. Released on Dillon Francis’ 34th birthday, the new album includes an overwhelming sense of optimism. This passion is totally called for, as Happy Machine ushers in a new era for the DJ.
Francis has had quite the career so far. After growing up in California, he worked to build up his signature electronic sound. Soon after his start, Francis caught the attention of Diplo in the early 2010s. According to EDM Maniac, the two artists eventually collaborated together, which led to Dillion Francis signing to Diplo’s Mad Decent label. Now, in 2021, Francis is supporting Happy Machine, which is his third official album.
