Drake’s clothing brand, October’s Very Own, dropped a hot “capsule” collection for the 2021-2022 NBA season today. The OVO x NBA drop will feature Bobby Shmurda and Chief Keef in some of the outfits from the collection.
Drake has made himself very connected with the professional sports world since his rise to fame. Champagne Papi continues to reinforce the tie with this new venture. Other than being an avid patron to NBA courts, he hangs out with athletes like LeBron James and Steph Curry on the regular. Additionally, Drake is not only a global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors, his brand OVO has a partnership with the Raptors as well.

OVO x NBA Outifts
Now, the Toronto rapper reveals a whole line for the NBA specifically. He hit up Bobby Shmurda and Chief Keef to rep their teams by modeling a couple of their products. The OVO brand, which is an extension of Drake’s record label, shows off a Knicks three-piece outfit. The hat has OVO’s signature owl with a basketball while keeping the team colors as the theme.
This compliments the varsity-style jacket and matching sweatpants that bear an orange “O” on one side and a Knicks’ logo on the other. While these are patches, “World Champions 1970, ‘73” is actually embroidered on as well. A post by OVO on Instagram shows the New York rapper copping the slick Knicks-inspired hat with an all-white OVO t-shirt.
In another Instagram post, Chicago rapper, Chief Keef, is seen repping the Bulls-inspired hat and varsity jacket. The jacket is, in every essence, just like the Knicks outfit, but the hat has its own unique take on the OVO owl x Chicago Bulls collaboration. It shows a red OVO owl outlined in black with two bull horns on both sides of its head. This really shows creativity and uniqueness from each team-inspired outfit.
Along with team-inspired t-shirts, towels, shorts, and long sleeves, the capsule collection dropped today and includes products inspired by the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
