TimTheTatman leaves Twitch to join and stream exclusively on YouTube Gaming.
Tim Betar, also known as TimTheTatMan, is one of the most successful and popular streamers in the world. In his most recent years of Twitch, he has been known to play mostly battle royale games with other giant names on the platform like FazeSwagg, Cloakzy, and NickMercs. This news comes just days after fellow partnered streamer, DrLupo made his switch from Twitch over to YouTube gaming. TimTheTatMan’s first YouTube Gaming stream took place this past Thursday.
Though he’s leaving over 7 million followers on Twitch, TimTheTatMan will command an outstanding 3.8 million subscribers on YouTube. Like most successful content creators, Tim has used a YouTube channel to load his past streams in order to create more exposure and revenue from just Twitch.

Big Streamers TimTheTatMan
This comes after a series of big names switching platforms. Before, when Microsoft still had Mixer, big names Ninja and Shroud made the switch from Twitch but came back after Mixer was bought by Facebook. StoneMountain64, another classic big-name streamer, has made a permanent switch to Facebook Gaming, which has been very successful for him. Other streamers like Valkyrae and CouRage switched to YouTube gaming before all the controversy that has been happening over on Twitch. Between the saturation of streamers and the current hate raids, it makes sense to see these big moves. TimTheTatMan will join CouRage and another streamer legend, Dr. Disrespect, on most first-person shooter streams.
Both DrLupo and Tim found that their deals with YouTube have allowed them to spend more time with their family. With YouTube investing in big names to come to their platform, we may see a rise in viewership and a smaller gap between them and Twitch’s numbers. Twitch seems to have nothing but love for Tim, as they post a montage on Twitter that includes Tim’s iconic first win on Fall Guys.
