If anyone is staying busy in light of the world opening up again, it’s Australian electronic artist Hydraulix. Following a handful of successful releases this year already, Hydraulix released ‘Wish I’d Never Met You’ on July 27th. This is the fourth single off of his upcoming debut album, Imposter Syndrome. Veronica Bravo assists with vocals in this uplifting heartbreak anthem, which is wildly opposite compared to its bass metal predecessor ‘Concrete’ feat. Jasiah.
This release comes just days after the Sydney native DJ announced a 40+ stop North American tour specifically for Imposter Syndrome. Hydraulix kicks off the tour performing at Bass Canyon in Washington on August 22nd, and ends it in Miami Beach on October 28th. Some other festivals he’s also hitting include Electric Zoo in New York, Lost Lands in Ohio, and Revival in Toronto.
STREAM ‘Wish I’d Never Met You’ by Hydraulix feat. Veronica Bravo
“Wish I’d Never Met You’ was such a fun track to write. I knew when looking for a vocalist that I wanted someone who would take the vibe in their own direction, and Veronica Bravo struck me as someone who would be able to do just that. Her voice is so pure and really captures the vibe as well as takes it up a notch. It’s super exciting to show people a toned back slightly more vibey version of my music.“
