Love, Death… and Joints. Netflix’s sci-fi anthology series Love Death & Robots, is a notoriously trippy and adult-themed anthology series. Last month, the show’s creators and the eco-geniuses at Glass House Farms announced a curious project. A bundle of eight curated strains for each episode of Volume 2.
Created by Tim Miller and David Flincher, Love Death + Robots is an animation series that features artists and creators from various countries and backgrounds. Many episodes’ art styles and narratives are known for being dark, dystopic, and psychedelic in nature. The show goes across the board with comedic and philosophical installations as well, however. It’s because of this chaos that the show can be so exciting on its first watch.
Eight Pre-Rolls For Eight Episodes
On May 14th, 2021, Glass House Farms released a box collection of pre-rolled joints. They have intended each of these particular pre-roll strains for one of the eight respective episodes in Volume 2, which came out the same day.

According to their website, a lot of care is put into which strain belongs to what episode. As such, samples were sent to influencers and personalities they believed would be fond of the experiment. Now the approved pre-rolls are available in the official Love Death & Robots Bundle.

Strain-to-Episode Breakdown
Pop Squad – Berry Fire
Life Hutch – Orangeade
Ice – Fatso
The Tall Grass – Hellfire
Automated Customer Service – Orange Creamsicle
All Through The House – Cherry AK
The Drowned Giant – Birthday Cake
Snow in the Desert – Bootylicious
The strains appear to reflect the mood of each episode. For example, The Drowned Giant, is a ponderous, David Attenborough-like documentary about the anatomy of a dead giant on the beach. It was consequently bestowed with the Indica-dominant Birthday Cake. Meanwhile, Orange Creamsicle, a Sativa-dominant, is given to Automated Customer Service, a comedic piece about a vacuum robot that goes into Terminator mode.
All in all, the eight pre-rolls come in a sleek, black case bearing the ❤️💀+🤖 icons alongside a unique lighter.
