The “King Of The Northwest” is back again with the breezy and self-assured single, “Richer Than My Dad”, produced by Mike Mo. No matter which moniker he’s rapping under (Luck-One, HANiF, etc), the constant in all of Neef’s releases is his authentic dedication to the art form, and “Richer Than My Dad” is no exception.
The track is a celebration of all that Neef has achieved in his life, and while he compares his wealth to his dad’s, he makes sure to remind us that it’s not a diss and that his dad, “distilled all this wisdom, and now I do the same”. King Rahim floats effortlessly onto the track, adding another layer of meaning to the song’s themes of success.
Northeast Neef “Richer Than My Dad” ft. King Rahim
Mike Mo’s instrumental is smooth, laid back, and exudes pure funk from the first second. The steady groove is the perfect foundation for Neef and Rahim to tell their stories of hard-earned success. This is one of the standout records from his No Sympathy album.
Be sure to head to Neef’s bandcamp, where you can buy his new single, or anything else from his back catalogue. Stay tuned for more updates from Northeast Neef via Respect My Region.com.
