Federal Way is home to a lot of the Pacific Northwest region’s talent. Yohiness may have stepped back from music for 5 years but the man stayed working and ready to make moves. Today we have a new release from Yohiness called “Suyoung” featuring Jo$hua.
Directed by Dawson Knight, the visual to “Suyoung” matches the feel of the record, kicked back smoking good. Washington state cannabis cannasseurs will catch numerous strain and brand names dropped in the bars over a smooth sax production.
Yohiness glides over the beat like he hasn’t missed a step and Jo$hua provides a complimentary feel on the second verse bringing a different kind of energy. It goes without saying that Federal Way has some super strong talent rising over the last five years.
After taking a step back from the artist side of the industry, the Federal Way creative found a home hosting events, DJ’ing, and assisting other brands with their marketing. He’s touched stages wearing many hats, but getting back to the music was mandatory.
“Suyoung” is just a taste of what’s in store.
Yohiness has an album completed on the way. Rumor has it that it features a solid number of some of Seattle’s favorite artists. When asked about stepping away from music and what it feels like to get back to it, Yohiness said “Always have other ways to express your creativity and don’t sleep on Federal Way!”
This joint about the vibes, roll something and get it cracking.
