After a successful tour run with Sam Lachow and releasing his debut EP ‘Solomon Samuel Simone’, Raz Simone’s musical momentum was was abruptly halted when he caught a gun charge while performing in New York City for possession of a firearm that he legally owned. After dealing with the effects of the situation throughout all of 2013, all charges were recently dropped and Raz has prepared his return to music. “Don’t Shine” marks Raz’s re-introduction, and kicks off a big year with his new project Cognitive Dissonance: Part One dropping in early 2014.
This sone has an awesome chorus and the vocals are on point. We can only hope that Raz’s return will continue to grow, as he was one of the up-and-coming artists out of the Northwest. People have been calling him to work with Sam Lachow again as well, which would be a clutch move if they can make it happen!
