Nephi is cruising onto the Seattle hip-hop scene with his unique vibe and west coast attitude. A true child of the west coast. He is originally from San Diego, California, and is a member of the Lowcos Car Club, Seattle Chapter. Nephi has been making music for years, but it wasn’t until recently he decided to take it seriously and go full force.
Feeling he represents the west coast to it’s fullest while still standing out in his own Nephi-way. This 24-year-old comes at us with an interesting vibe, while still delivering that west coast attitude. His latest track “Dream,” produced by Don Saulo, is a perfect example of this combination coming together beautifully. The hypnogogic beat sends you into an airy headspace as you begin to sway from side to side. But, like a perfect hybrid kush, Nephi drops bars that snap you back to reality like that moment right before you hit the ground when you fall in a “Dream.”
That attitude he so proudly promotes is prominent throughout the track/video. But it’s not that negative kind of attitude, it’s that confident yet approachable vibe that embodies what the west coast is about. We got some of the best snow, come ski with us.
