Solid Sound co-presents the British singer/toaster, Pato Banton, who is an OG in the reggae game dropping his first solo album, Visions Of The World, in 1989. Banton’s early music had in infused reggae/British-rock sound where he would occasionally bring a cool flow that resembled Slick Rick’s from back in the day. The local, Lion of Judah Band, will kick things off with their roots reggae sound from the Caribbean.

This band was formed after the late Bradley Nowell of Sublime passed. Bassist, Eric Wilson, and drummer, Bud Gaugh, got together with singer, Opie Ortiz. The latter two are no longer in the band, however, the band is still rocking strong. The Aggrolites and Tomorrows Bad Seeds are currently touring with LBDAS. Both are notable bands in the genre with an extensive discography. Are you feeling irie?

Dancehall artist, Kranium, from Montego Bay is the most popular act of this four-night run at the Nectar Lounge. Kranium is signed to Atlantic Records and performs on tracks with artist Ty Dolla $ign, Tory Lanez, and WizKid. He is currently on the last leg of his international tour. Opening for him will be the lovely Jada Kingdom who is Jamaica’s young emerging artists.

Clinton Fearon has been performing reggae music since a teenager when his family relocated from the countryside of Jamaica to Kingston. Now, Fearon lives in Seattle and continues to perform all over the Pacific Northwest with Boogie Brown Band, which he founded. Seattle reggae/dub band, Rebel Lion, will be opening up the night who released their new album Reggae All Stars Vol. 3 mid-February. Come out and support the local guys!
