Seattle rapper and producer, Anthony Danza, is bringing the city back in time with his latest release. The BBS Diaries project is set to launch on 5/28 and today we get a taste of the upcoming project with the intro “At All Costs.”
Danza is a man of many skill sets. As an artist, he’s harvested a following and shared verses with some of your favorite rappers (Nipsey Hussle, Big K.R.I.T., Kevin Gates, and more). He’s spun sets in clubs and stadiums alike as a DJ. On the production front, he’s amassed an impressive list of credits for himself and others alongside crafting the sonic backdrop for most of the current catalog for Bay Area Legend Messy Marv.
On “At All Costs,” Anthony Danza provides vocals over a self-produced instrumental comprised of an 80s sample rearranged in supreme fashion. A quick minute and half of straight bars over what sounds like a leftover score from Scarface. From the look to the sound to visual quality, this joint is modern retro gold. The one-shot visual was shot by Director Steve and edited by Harry Clean.
While he’s comfortable wearing many hats he’s trading them in for 80s inspired buckets and Kangos all summer ’19. Welcome to the BBS Diaries.
